Maximizing Your Aircraft’s Potential
We offer a solution where your aircraft earns revenue during periods when you’re not using it, helping to cover its maintenance costs (fixed costs such as leasing, hangar space, crew, technical services, etc.).
Here’s how we help:
- We’ll prepare a profitability calculation for your current aircraft or one you plan to purchase.
- This will give you a clear understanding of how many charter hours your aircraft needs to log each month to cover its operational costs.
- Based on how many hours you plan to fly personally, we’ll develop a financial simulation to determine the break-even point for owning the aircraft.
Why Call&Fly?
We’re here to help make this plan a reality! Once you own an aircraft, you’ll want to ensure that the previous calculations reflect reality and that the plane is actually flying and generating income.
Airplane operators, in general, prioritize their own aircraft for charters, as this is more profitable for them. This means your aircraft might be at the back of the queue for charter flights, either due to pricing or the operator’s priorities.
It’s also important to note that operators cannot guarantee a minimum number of sold hours, as it depends on many factors (including weather). As a result, it’s easy for them to say, “Unfortunately, this month wasn’t successful, but maybe next month will be better.” However, for aircraft owners, sales and financial results matter more than efforts.
That’s why more owners are turning to a model where they retain control over the sale of charter hours.
To implement this model, the owner can split the responsibilities between two companies:
- FORMAL TASKS: Managed by the operator, limited to the necessary tasks for maintaining the aircraft under the AOC certificate (including operational compliance with AOC, procedural matters, safety standards, ULC audits, CAMO, etc.).
- SALES TASKS: Handled by a specialized private-jet sales company that generates charter hours for the owner and oversees the aircraft’s operations.
Benefits of this approach and Call&Fly’s external sales force include:
- Focused sales efforts on your specific aircraft;
- Promotion of the aircraft and its availability for charter on the market;
- Internal flight planning (we calculate routes, takeoff weights, airport restrictions, and airspace limitations ourselves), allowing us to offer aircraft to clients much faster than external dispatchers used by operators, significantly increasing sales efficiency;
- Full and continuous owner oversight of operations (transparent and efficient action, with direct reporting to the owner);
- Coordination of AOC flights with the owner’s flights (including repositioning planning to minimize related costs);
- Ongoing management of flight crews and their working hours (avoiding situations where the aircraft is available but a flight cannot occur due to a lack of available crew);
- Crew logistics (rotation between airports, including transportation logistics, e.g., via commercial flights);
- Scheduling of aircraft maintenance vs. the owner’s and commercial flight schedules;
- Proactively addressing operational issues;
- 15 years of experience in air-taxi sales, backed by proven results.
By working with Call&Fly, you’ll ensure that your aircraft operates efficiently and generates revenue while maintaining complete control over its use and profitability.
